Touchstone Institute and the Centre for Canadian Language Benchmarks acknowledge how important this test is for IENs on their registration pathway and are working to resume services as soon as it is safe to do so. As CELBAN has been delivered in a face-to-face model, including an in-person interview, we are carefully considering the best ways to manage risk to test takers and examiners.
While there is variation in Provincial and Municipal responses to COVID-19, the potential threat exists in all communities. We will be coordinating the resumption of testing to ensure a consistent experience and fair access across Canada.
